    The Citizens have named a 27-man squad for the Club World Cup in the United States, including new signings Rayan Cherki, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijani Reinders and Marcus Bettinelli.

    While Mateo Kovacic was expecte to be in contention before suffering a hamstring injury and missing out, the likes of Jack Grealish Kyle Walker Kalvin Phillips and James McCathy are also out.

    Guardiola said at the end of last season that he would “quit” if forced to work for a bigger team.

    Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game against Al Ain in Atlanta, Guardiola hinted that some players could be on the cards.
